India's crude oil imports for last fiscal year stood at USD 137 Billion, which is indeed quite significant dependency.

While there is a stickiness for certain sectors like petrochemicals, however whichever sectors the substitution is possible should be expedited for strategic reasons, besides the larger goal of net zero transition.
