PuREPower Modular UPS in Koonammavu, Kerala

Koonammavu Homes Choose Integrated Backup

Residents across this growing local centre are actively transitioning from legacy Modular UPS configurations to modern integrated energy storage systems. While the state DISCOM provides widespread grid coverage across Kerala, localized power interruptions still affect daily routines and digital work. Traditional backup systems often fail to protect sensitive electronics during sudden transitions. The PuREPower system addresses this with an ultra-fast sub-10 ms grid-to-battery switchover, ensuring that computers, routers, and appliances run without a single flicker. This seamless transition is vital for remote professionals and families who require continuous connectivity. By choosing an integrated solution, homeowners secure a reliable power supply that safeguards their appliances while optimizing overall energy usage.

PuREPower in Kerala: Grid Context and Cost Sense

In Kerala, the drive toward sustainable energy is accelerating rapidly. The central subsidy under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, routed via ANERT, has made rooftop solar highly accessible for properties in Koonammavu. By pairing solar panels with the PuREPower system, households can store surplus energy generated during the day. This integrated configuration delivers >95% round-trip efficiency, minimizing energy loss compared to traditional battery setups. Shifting from grid reliance and expensive diesel generators to an intelligent battery energy storage system makes immense long-term financial sense. It reduces dependency on the state DISCOM during peak evening hours, translating to material savings on electricity bills while supporting the state's transition toward a cleaner, more resilient grid.
